A Free Family Event That Puts Kids in the Driver’s Seat While Supporting Those Who Serve

Join us for the 2026 Legacy Touch-A-Truck at Metzger Park in Louisville, Ohio. Families can explore trucks, heavy equipment, emergency vehicles, and more up close while meeting the men and women who operate them, all for FREE.

Sensory-friendly hour: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM

• Possible live helicopter landing experience

A Touch-A-Truck event allows children to safely explore and interact with real trucks and service vehicles while meeting the people who operate them.

No. Legacy Touch-A-Truck is completely free to attend for all families.

Parking will be available at and around Metzger Park. A limited number of handicap-accessible spaces will be available directly at the park.

Additional parking is typically available at nearby locations such as the local high school, middle school, public library, and surrounding public lots. Final parking details and confirmed overflow locations will be shared closer to the event date.

Yes. Several local food and refreshment trucks will be on site with items available for purchase throughout the event.

All money raised through The Legacy Touch-A-Truck goes directly to Legacy of Honor’s mission and community programs supporting first responders, veterans, and their families.
